Carolina Petrini, MBA

Carolina Petrini is a senior executive with 26 years of distinguished experience driving growth and innovation across life sciences, media, and insights industries. She excels in corporate strategy, commercial infrastructure development, product launch execution, and health brand transformation. As a full-time and fractional Chief Commercial Officer, Carolina specializes in building size-fitting, high-impact strategies that accelerate commercialization for emerging biotech, biopharma, and medtech organizations. Carolina has successfully supported four specialty product launches, including three first products, and is recognized for her expertise in go-to-market strategies, indication expansion, and lifecycle management. Her deep therapeutic experience spans oncology, rare diseases, CNS, dermatology, cardiovascular, and endocrinology. Carolina also advises venture capital and private equity firms, serving as a board nominee, operating partner, and trusted guide for strategic investments. As the founder of Decode, Carolina has partnered with preclinical to late-stage companies to deliver commercial excellence, focusing on translating scientific innovation into patient-centric solutions. Carolina also serves on the Boards of Directors of two early-stage biotech companies and has played critical roles in two successful IPOs completed at premium valuations in 2007 and 2012, highlighting her ability to align commercial strategy with investor expectations and long-term corporate value creation. Earlier in her career, Carolina held leadership positions at Everyday Health, Inc., and comScore, Inc., where she helped pioneer advanced insights and analytics methodologies, shaping commercial strategies for top biopharma brands. Her work has consistently demonstrated a commitment to accelerating drug development, building health-focused brands, and delivering measurable impact. Ms. Petrini earned a bachelor’s degree in Licenciatura, International Relations and Political Science at Universidad del Salvador and an MBA from George Washington University.
